I’ve recently finished up the project-of-a-lifetime with Seth Godin, author of 20 international bestsellers. Late fall 2021, Seth emailed his newsletter subscribers with an invite to contribute to a book on climate change. He needed copywriters, graphic designers, web designers, project managers and a dozen other skills. It seemed like a perfect fit — I checked two-thirds of the boxes. 800 people applied, and 80 were accepted. Two weeks later, I started working with over 100 people from 40 countries. Yesterday, we shipped the book off to the publisher, Penguin Random House.

Together, we built The Carbon Almanac: a statement of facts, concepts and definitions all around carbon and its effect on planet Earth. It is built to peruse, to share, to split apart, to dig deeper. It is data-rich and visually beautiful. I couldn’t be more proud of the end result and the team of strangers around the planet that pull it together.

It’ll be published in June 2022, simultaneously around the world. If you’d like to pre-order one of your own, here’s the link: https://www.thecarbonalmanac.org/
