It’s always interesting to see how markets become more segmented when you look at them closer. Our line of research started with information on propane used for vehicle fuel. We realized after some searching that the data we found on propane as vehicle fuel would be mixed with propane as backyard barbeque fuel. That would give us skewed data. We were able to focus in with more detail by using the nascent industry term, autogas.
