The owners of Pronto came to us looking for help branding the gelateria and cafe that they were opening not far off in Lexington, Virgina. Pronto is a small, family enterprise serving everything from cappuccinos to sandwiches and you guessed it, gelato. They specialize in fast but certainly relaxed service and cater to every age.
Pulling inspiration from other small cafes both in the US and in Italy, Franceso and Meridith wanted Pronto to reflect a modern elegance but with a hint of whimsy and playfulness. So we created a logo for them that would be unique to that feeling.
Throwing in a dash of Italy, a small iconic sports car (inspired by their son) was added into their logo as a reminder of both Pronto’s readiness but also a private memory to hold on to while opening their new business.
Relaxed hues of blue, gray and white were used and incorporated in their business cards, signage and brochures. They provided text that explains the technical differences between gelato and ice cream. We converted that to text that grabs people’s attention and tells then why they should care.
